Terms and Conditions

Once you have placed your order, we will send you confirmation of your order via email, which you will have time to check and amend before we proceed to sign off the order for manufacturing to commence.

 

Orders placed with Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd can be cancelled or amended 24 hours after placing the order. All amendments or cancellations will need to be received by email within 24 hours and call us on 01773 717291 to confirm that an email has been sent.

 

All products that are ordered with Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd are made to measure or bespoke to your requirements so therefore, cannot be returned. If however, the product is damaged or has any manufacturing faults then we will collect the item and have any faults rectified or a replacement item sent to the full specification of the order. All Items must be signed for and inspected upon delivery by the customer only and not a third party. If the Product is incorrect or not to the specification ordered then you must not sign for the door and reject the delivery.

Deliveries are often made by one driver due to logistical reasons and therefor you should ensure there is enough people on hand on site to handle the size of the Door or Window products. By nature, large Doors and Windows are heavy and the driver will need assistance to unload these.

 

All Items must be checked and signed for at the point of delivery.

This means checking for any damaged or missing parts.

 

Please Ensure that you:

 

·         Unwrap the Item and make sure it is not damaged in any way

·         Check that you have all the correct accessories and caps required that may not come fixed to the door. IE Cill end caps.

·         Check the correct beading is supplied for your glazing choice.

·         Check the Measurement of the Door or Window for the correct sizing.

 

Once the checks have been made and the delivery paperwork is signed then any reports of damage for a replacement after the item has been signed for will not be honored. You should ensure your item is delivered in full working and satisfactory condition.

If the product has been fitted and then a report of the product not being to specification is made after it is fitted, we will not honor the replacement of the Item. All Faults or specification problems should be reported at the point of delivery and then Aspect Doors and Windows ltd will rectify any problems that may arise in a timely manner with the manufacturer.

 

​In the unlikely event of a fault occurring, by purchasing the item you agree to let Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd liaise with the manufacturer and rectify any faults in a reasonable time frame and redeliver the item to you to the specification of your order. An order can not just be cancelled or refunded immediately if it is faulty. As it is a bespoke product Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd should be given the full opportunity to rectify any problems and to have the product remade or repair the product to the full specification.

 

Should any delays in your order arriving occur either due to logistical reasons or any reason beyond our control then Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd will not be held responsible for delays and will not be liable to compensate for time or monies lost due to an item arriving late. We endeavor to update you as soon as possible if any delays occur and we will inform you of any changed delivery dates as soon as we are informed. We will always keep you up to date with your order.

 

 We always advise:

  • Never book in your fitters for day of delivery in case, due to logistical reasons the items cannot get to you on time for the fitter to fit.

  • We advise that you take delivery of your item and leave enough time to check the item before opening up any apertures for the item to be installed. Therefore we advise fitting works are only booked in after you have taken delivery and are satisfied it has been delivered to the full specification.

  • Always use a certified fitter to comply with your own Building Standards, Building Regulations and to maintain any warranty on the Product you have been supplied.

  • Any warranty claim without certified fitting will not be honored by the Manufacturer.

 

​Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd from time to time have clearance stock. The sale of stock clearance items that are collected from our warehouse or inspected on site at the point of collection cannot be returned for a refund once they are taken away. All products that Aspect Doors and Windows Ltd supply are fully working and complete and we give every opportunity to inspect the product to make sure you are happy before taking the product away. If you pre-pay for a clearance item online without pre-inspecting the item and you are not happy with the product at the point of collection we will issue you with a full refund. All clearance items do not come with a manufacturer's warranty.
